　　目前主要從事進化人類學及人類行為生態學的研究，自2008年起，對生活在中國西南地區的母係摩梭人開展了長期的進化生物學研究。

　　主持國家自然基金麵上項目2項，國家973計劃項目子課題一項，合作主持英國科學院國際交流項目(International Partnership and Mobility Scheme 2012)一項。
